My January 2026 Favorites

I cannot believe January is over! It was such a quick month. January felt like the kind of month that sets the tone for everything ahead — equal parts cozy, exciting, and full of little moments that made everyday life feel a bit more special.

I rang in the new year with my family and then began planning a full week at Disney World. There’s something about starting fresh in a place that feels so familiar and joyful that just hits differently. I stayed at Pop Century for the first time and I really enjoyed it, even though my room was a full eight minute walk from the main lobby in the 90s section. The massive 1998 computer model next to my room made up for it. I made my way through all four parks, soaking up everything from early mornings to late-night fireworks.

One standout from the trip? The Bunny Burrow Brew at Animal Kingdom, inspired by Zootopia 2. I wasn’t expecting it to become a favorite, but it absolutely did — one of those drinks you immediately start thinking about having again before you’ve even finished it. It was like the Vietnamese Coffee, also at Isle of Java in Animal Kingdom, but with yummy blueberry syrup and blueberry beads on top.

Back home, music has been setting the mood for my days. I’ve had Midnight Sun by Zara Larsson on repeat since it came out — the kind of album that just hypes you up and reminds me that summer is right around the corner. And somehow, the month got even better because I scored a VIP ticket to see her on tour. I already know hearing “Blue Moon” live is going to be a highlight for Q1.

January has also been very much about a single wardrobe staple: my Pippa Free People jacket in Pulse (blue). I’ve been wearing it nonstop — it’s one of those pieces that just works with everything. I loved it so much that I picked it up in Ballet Slipper, just in time for my Disney trip. It ended up being perfect for those chilly Florida mornings and has carried me through full days back in the Midwest just as easily.

On the wellness side of things, I tried something new this month: Cove, a prebiotic soda. I started with the pineapple flavor and really enjoyed it — light, refreshing, and something different from my usual go-to drinks. Definitely adding more flavors to my list to try!

January flew by — a quick return to work followed by a trip not long after. I don’t have quite as much to share as usual, but it still felt like a full month in its own way. I hope your January was cozy, fun, productive, or exactly what you needed it to be.
